This coming long weekend marks the occasion of the holy El Adha; a great time to gather with family, friends and loved ones.

Despite the heated weather at this time in the UAE, there are great places to visit and exciting activities to take your kids to this coming Eid.

Here are the top 7 Eid Al Adha destinations for some real adventure with your little ones:


  1. Little Explorers

Like the place calls itself, it is a true ‘Edutainment Centre’ for kids between the age of 2 to 7 years old. This adventures establishment allows your child to learn through play, by experiencing the different zones within the premises. Not only that there is a game for every child’s taste to learn through, the place is also very safe for your little one to wander around and happily discover.


  1. Bounce

This is an excellent destination during Eid Al Adha for the whole family!

The building from the outside may trick you into thinking it is yet another regular sports centre, but the second you lay your eyes on what is inside, your heart beat will surely hit the roof!

Bounce has the largest indoor trampoline area in the Middle East, with dedicated sections for games such as baseball (while bouncing) and dodge ball (also while bouncing), and many more. If your little one is less than a specific height, they will be escorted to a safer trampoline area for safe jumping.

It is worth mentioning that kids under the age of 3 are not allowed in for safety measurements.

If your kids love painting, take them down to Café Céramique to paint a cute pottery plate this Eid, while everyone enjoys a delicious meal.

The place is part a café-part an art centre, where your children can have fun mixing up the colours on the plates, while chewing on yummy food. There is a big variety of white pottery céramique sculptures to choose from, and it comes with full paint supplies (brushes, colours, stamps.. etc) provided by the café. There is just so much to do at this beach that an entire day might not be enough!

There is a large outdoor trampoline for kids, a spacious skate-board area for older children, an enormous elevated wire obstacle course for adults called ‘Wire World’, volley ball course, walking/ running path, special path for bicycles, and much, much more!

The beach itself can rent you umbrellas, chairs or beach lounge chairs, with a life-guard team spread across its coastline for your family’s safety.

This is a great indoor destination to beat the heat. The world’s largest indoor snow park is the perfect adventure for the whole family in Eid holidays. Get on the chair lift with your kid, practice snowboarding, ski down the slope, or meet cute penguins!

  1. Flamingos – Ras Al Khor Sanctuary

Drive to Ras Al Khor road, just right at the junction between Oud Metha and Al Wasl Road, and stop right there to be dazzled by the natural beauty of pink Flamingos!

This is a great early morning outing to avoid the heat. There are viewing spots with sharp binoculars for your little ones to view and explore. And the good news is, it’s all free of charge!
